Game Logic & Systems
Player states, movement rules, and the small systems that make a Gorilla Tag–style copy actually play well.
Gorilla Tag Copy developer behind games. Over a year developing Gorilla Tag–style games with the APK method — movement, systems and the feel of them.
Short version: I like making things that work, keeping them simple, and actually understanding how they work under the hood.
Hey — I'm Charlz. I go by that name online, and charlz.org is my home on the internet. I'm a Gorilla Tag Copy developer.
I've spent over a year developing games with the APK method — building Gorilla Tag–style games, working on the movement, the systems behind them, and the little details that make a copy actually play well. Most of that time went into iterating: testing how it feels, tweaking, and going back again until it's right.
I'm self-taught, which means everything I know came from building real things and fixing real problems rather than following a script.
This page is a plain profile — who I am, what I build, and what I've spent my time on.
Practical skills built from a year of actually working on games — not a list copied off a template.

Tuning how movement responds — the weight, the speed, the timing. The part players notice instantly even if they can't name it.
Over a year of experience developing games using the APK method — the workflow, the process, and what actually works in practice.
Play it, spot what's wrong, change it, repeat. The core loop behind almost every improvement across my games.
Tracking down what's causing a problem, understanding why, and fixing it properly instead of patching over it.
Breaking a vague idea into something buildable, then sticking with it until it works the way it should.
